paracide™

Paradigm has the Most Comprehensive and Low Cost Biocide Product
Line Available Today for the Pulp & Paper Applications!

Biocides are necessary to control slime, bacteria, and fungi in pulp and paper mills. However these are some of the most misunderstood applications in a paper mill. A proper deposit control program begins with the fundamental understanding of the additives, temperatures, and the existing problem. Next, a simple toxicant evaluation is used to determine what biocide active can most cost effectively treat the system. Don’t be fooled by “custom blends” or proprietary chemistries. These are marketing tools used to justify high cost programs. Virtually any standard active can be used effectively to control bacteria, slime, and fungal activity. Most biocides are produced by a small and select few manfacturers. Application expertise is what is important, not the molecule or label on the bin.
